Stayed 1 night (Friday, July 11th). Hotel was really good, took into account that we needed a non-smoking room and that we were travelling with an elderly person. Only negative was the garden restaurant. We had a table in the white-table-cover section and found the service dreadful. Firstly, we noticed that people who had ordered after us, were receiving their food before us. At long last, the waiter told us there had been a mistake in the kitchen and one of our menus had to be started over again. When the food came, one soup, which had been ordered did not turn up at all. We had to remind the waiter that we had ordered a portion of French fries: these came after we had finished our meal. An extra glass of red wine was also ordered and this took ages to be delivered to our table. Beacuse of this, we ended up eating far too late (especially for the elderly member of our party).In short, our dinner experience was not a very good advertisement for the restaurant. However, hotel generally (including breakfast) was excellent. Would just think twice about eating an evening meal there.

Great amenties and superb rooms. Staff polite and helpful. Would stay there again.
